and they lived Happily Ever After! Teddy Bears Series #4 and 5

Hello to all my crafty friends today I am continuing  on with the Teddy Bears Series challenge over at
I am doing a bit of back tracking since I missed the Queen and Prince and a few other LOL!. I had these darling little bears made up but didn't have a clue what I was going to do with them. Then last night I was over at the Silhouette store and came across this beautiful castle card.
How Perfect!
So I went down to my craft room around 9:00 and the next time I looked at the clock it was 5:30 this morning!!!
I had both machines just a humming away and I did get this card finished both inside and out.

I decided to continue on and  dressed up a few more Bears that now just need to be made into projects. Then I decided I was on a roll so I made another 12 bears that just need to be dressed. How time fly's when your having fun.
Bears were cut at 3.5 inches using Circuts Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge.
Card Base is from the Silhouette Store.

I remember when growing up as a kid we were always given free tickets from school for this fun event.
I loved the clowns the best and of course we cannot forget all the goodies we would eat.

For today's project I decided on making a  gift box in the shape of a tent and fill it with peanuts.
I then added my Circus Clown which is the 7th Bear in the Teddy Bear Parade series over at My Crafting Channel. Woo! Hoo!

Teddy Bear Parade Challenge! Day 2

Woo! Hoo!
I'm back with another fun project for Day 2 of the Teddy Bear Parade Series over at My Crafting Channel.
Day 2's Darling little bear is called " Baby Bear New Year"
I decided on making a card with this little guy.

As a rule we do not do anything for New Years, when we were younger there were lots of party's to go to or just getting together with a couple of friends, have a couple of beers and then watch the count down on T.V.  and making sure we opened both the front and back door to let the New Year in and the Old Year out. Now we are lucky to make it to Midnight.

I did change the little party favor, I wasn't happy with the one on the cartridge so I cut this one out at 1.5 inches from Cricuts Celebrations Cartridge.
The paper is from momenta which I picked up at Zellers last year when they were going out of business. I like this paper pack so much that I picked it up on two different occasion with out knowing it so I gave one to my BFF.
The sentiment is from Joys Life "Holiday Occasions Stamps".
I will be entering this card over at My Crafting Channel for the Teddy Bear Series Challenge.
D.L. Art August Linky Party.
Thanks for stopping by have a great week and I ope to be back tomorrow with another cute little bear.

Teddy Bear Parade Challenge! Day One

Hello all my Crafty friends and family!
Once again it has been a while since my last post, but I do have a good excuse, I am having some major medical issues at the moment and I hope there is a end to it in the near future so I hope you with stick with me. I do promise I will try and post more often.
So I thought a great way to do this was to play along with My Crafting Channels Teddy Bear Parade Series.
Each day Nana will be posting a new challenge with the bear of the day.

So here is my first bear using the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut cartridge which I made into a gift tag for a Christmas present for my nephew son Evan.
I cut my bear at 3.5 inches and dressed him up to be a Drummer Bear.
adding glitter and flower soft for finishing touches.

The tag it self was cut from Cricuts Tags Bags and More at 4.5 inches.
For the inside sentiment I used a Stampin Up Christmas stamp and one of  Miss Emmas My Creative Times Beary Special Thoughts
I hope you enjoyed today's post, now it is time to go work on Day 2's  bear.
Have a great week my friends!
I will also be entering this over at D.L. Art August Link Party

CAS Birthday Card!

Hello all my crafty friend! Today I have a clean and simple card that I threw together for a couple of challenges.

I don't know about you but I find this one of the hardest challenges to do. So with keeping with the thyme I used a piece of card stock for the base of the card which measures 4.25 by 5.25.
I then added a sheet of paper from The Breathe Paper Collection and added a sticker from Ancestry.com
My Happy Birthday sentiment is from My Craft Spot inside and out set #2
I added a chip board button along with some crinkled ribbon from My Craft Spot also.

This is a shot of the inside of the card along with the inside sentiment.
This is about as clean and simple as I can get. LOL!

I Hear Those Sleigh Bells Ringing!

What the heck!
Who the hell is thinking about Christmas in August?
I know I am not thats for sure! I live in Alberta and our summer is just to short to begin with and I try not to think about what is coming up to soon for my liking!
But with so many of the challenges thinking Christmas I decided to play along with them . Now I can say I have my first Christmas card made for 2013!
I used Cricuts A Quilted Christmas cartridge and cut the sleigh at 4 inches. I was able to make this into a shape card by cutting two shadows, scoring one just under the gifts and then joining it together with my ATG gun. How fun is that and I didn't need any fancy tools to do it.
For the inside of the card I used Joys Life "Oh Christmas" stamp set.
So thats it for today. I hope you enjoyed my post and if you have any question just give me a shout.
