Miles of Smiles Part 2

(If you are looking for my give away please click here)
Hello my crafty friends, Woo! Hoo! this is my second post in one day ( can you believe this?) I can goes for weeks without posting  anything and then BAM! away I go!
This is the second page of a layout that I made earlier this year of my Grandson Jaime which can be found here.
Boy how time can fly bye, this little guy is now 18 years old and he still has the most beautiful smile! and OMG! my Hubby looks so much younger and he has a mustache. (Giggle Giggle) Looking at the background of the photo I can see this is my old house where many a good times were had.
This is a list of the Cricut Cartridges used for this layout : Beep Beep for the car, B is for Boys for the plane, and Disney Cricut cartridge for the clouds and road.
Here is a shot of the two layouts side by side. Hope you enjoyed today's post. Have a great day and happy scrapping!

A Pirates Birthday Card!

(If you are looking for my give away please click here)
Hello my crafty friends! Hope this post finds you all well. Today I have another card for the Teddy Bear Series challenge going on over at My Crafting Channel.

My grandson Josh has a birthday coming up next month and he loves Pirates so I thought this would make a good Birthday card for him.
I used the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut cartridge for the bear, cutting him at 3.5 inches.

The base of the card, tag and ship were cut from Cricuts Wrap It Up Cartridge. This cartridge is a very good one with tags, cards and little gift bags. I bought it for a old car that I needed and it has turned out to be one of my favorites!
I used a lot of my scraps for this card which is a very good thing since I have a ton of them, just like everyone else that likes to hoard this thing called "PAPER"

The birthday sentiment is from My Craft Spot.

Give Away Time! and I was Published in this Months Edition of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine!

(for give away scroll to the bottom of this post)
Yep you heard me right! Last News Year Eve I set a goal for myself to be published in a Scrap Booking magazine, one you would have to purchase at a store.
I had been published in a online magazine but I wanted to see my work in print and my dream came true!
Not only was I published I was honored to meet the gals and have my picture taken with one of the co owner of the magazine last weekend at The Canadian Scrapbooker Carnival held in Edmonton.
This is Jackie and me (you couldn't wipe the smile off my face that day) holding a picture of the Halloween cascading card I submitted.
This picture is my beautiful daughter Christy who goes to all the scrapbooking events with me. She even had to take the day off work for this one but she didn't seem to mind.
This is just a small portion of the girls that were scrapbooking
 Christy hard at work.
This is another picture of the brat and me in my Dollar store glasses! I cannot believe I left my good glasses at home, so needless to say I did not get much done. I was always to busy looking for these darn things and trying to see straight out of them!

3 card my daughter whipped up for the girls at work.
Another Bear for the Teddy Bear Challenge over at My Crafting Channel.
I also worked on a Christmas mini album but did not get very far with it.
The carnival was held in Sherwood Park which is only about 20 minutes from my place but I decided to make a girls weekend out of it and we rented a room for the night. So not only did we scrap our hearts out but we were able to kick back have a couple of beers, go swimming in the pool and finish the night off in the hot tub.
This is a picture of our room, I told Christy not to touch anything until we made sure they did not make a mistake with our room, not bad if I say so myself.
So all in all in was a fun weekend and I was able to get a couple more bears done for the challenge over at My Crafting Channel Teddy Bear Series!
I am also linky this card up with DL Art Thankful  Thursday September Linky Party.
Now if you have stayed with me this long I would love to give a copy of the magazine away to one of my wonderful followers along with instruction on how to make the cascadingcard and a few goodies to help you get started.

Just leave a comment and I will pick a winner next week.
As always thanks for stopping bye, have a great week!

Sending You Bear Hugs!

Hello all my Crafty friends, looks like I have been missing in action once again. This time I have a good excuse, I have been very busy with my fall cleaning or it could be the Spring cleaning that I missed  doing this year, guess it doesn't matter what we call it...... just as long as it gets done! I swear in my old age I have started to go backwards.

So as you can see with today's card I have decided to make another card using the Teddy Bear Parade Cricut cartridge, cutting my bear at 3.5 inches. This is bear 11.

I just love this cartridge it is filled with so many adorable Teddy Bears it is hard to pick just which one to use.
I have been trying to make each one for a fun challenge over at My Crafting Channel, but I know this is never going to happen! But I am having a good time making the ones I have so far.
I finished the card off with some fun stickles and the perfect sentiment from My Creative Time "Beary Special Thoughts".

Get Whale Soon! Teddy Bear Parade Series.

Hello all my crafty friends and family!
Hope this post finds you all well and stress free, enjoying the long weekend.
Today I continue you along with My Crafting Channel Teddy Bear Series.

I just love making these side step card even though they take a bit of time. The finished results are always so much fun.
Once again I have used both my Cricut machine and my Cameo to create this fun get well card.
Both bears were cut from the Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge at 3.5 inches, I also used Cricuts Create a Critter for the sand castle.
I added a Get Whale Soon sentiment from a set of stamps by My Pink Stamper
The waves were from one of my newest punches by EK Sucess
I hope you enjoyed today's post. Have a great weekend and stay safe,
