Vroom! Vroom! My First Bike

This Layout was done by my sister Debby, she also loves to scrapbook and will come over and spend the day with me, on those days I usually do not get to much done, but we have a great time.

The pictures are of her grandson Aidan with his first bike.

Debby used Locker Talk for the cricut cuts.

She would like to enter this layout over at Getting Cricky's Cricut Cartridge Challenge: Boyish Charm.

Go Oilers Go! Josh's 1st Birthday: Page Two

These are pictures of my Grandsons first Birthday. Both my son and hubby are Hugh Oilers fans, so of course the birthday theme had to be hockey. My son Russell, has four kids and it took him to #4 to finally get his son. He was so happy when his 1st birthday came aroun

I found this paper at the bottom of a container, I bet I got it at least 8 years ago.

I used George and basic shapes and celebrations for my cricut cuts.

I picked up some sticker at the dollar store and added them to the balloons.

2010 Christmas Layout!

Some times I even amaze myself! I love the way this layout turned out, I cannot wait until Christmas to find just the right picture to add . I think a picture of my grandson and Santa will be the one!
So, I have decided that I really do love my Gypsy, to be able to use different cartridges and be able to cut everything at once is really cool. It really does make a big difference in time and variety on each and every page that I create.

For this layout, I used the following cartridges:

Winter Frolic for the trees cutting them at 3.50 inches.

George and Basic Shapes for the circle.
Christmas: for all the presents, candies and teddy bear.

I inked around all the edges of all the paper, added ribbon and bling to the trees and used glitter for the candy. I finally used my I Rock and I think I just found my new favorite tool.

I will be entering this layout in to the following challenges:

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #35 Color /Shape Challenge.
Made By Momo Tuesday Challenge: Use some kind of embossing.
Getting Cricky's Cricut Cartridge Challenge: Boyish Charms.
Gaby Abby Challenge with SEI: this week get inspired with a picture.

Second Page of Grandma & Me!

This is the matching page to go with the last layout I did. I like to make all my layouts into two page layouts. using the same colours.

This time in the pictures we have Auntie Gillian with Aidan and Papa with Aidan.

I used a lot of brads and then laced raffia for a extra wow factor!

The head of the monkey is a journal tag which you can see in the next picture. Once again the monkeys were cut with my cricut using my New Arrivals Cartridge.

I just noticed when I was putting this layout on that I forgot the brads on the last layout, darn it anyway, I thought I was finished. LOL!

Once again this layout is for the challenge over at : Getting Crick's :Boyish Charm Cartridge Challenge.

Thanks for popping in and have a great night.

If you wish to see the first page of the layout, it is on the post just below this one.

Grandma & Me: Our Darling Little Monkey!

This is a layout I did of my oldest sister's first Grandson. I started this layout a couple of years ago and then tucked it away and forgot all about it.
So I have decided that this is the week to pull out all the half finished layouts and get them done.
At the bottom of the layout is a rub on which says Grandma & Me, because you can hardly see it, I got mad and threw it in a drawer, I seam to do that a lot when I get upset.

This picture is Aidan and his Uncle Geoff.

I stamped the you are adorable and used eyelets and lace to combine the title and picture together.

I finished the layout by cutting Monkeys from New Arrival Cartridge in a variety of sizes. They say that he is a monkey, so I decided what the heck!

My First Hair Cut!

I am still trying to get a album done for each grandchild. I have been working on each one slowly.

These pictures are of my youngest grandson "Josh" doesn't he look like a little girl in the small picture. That is also him under the barbers cape. No way! Was that barber going to cut his hair, if he had anything to do with it.

For this layout I used the following cartridges, Locker Talk, Storybook and Everyday Paper Dolls . I even used my sewing machine on this layout for a change. I picked the paper up at a Scrapbooking store in Florida back in 2008.

I did this layout for the following Challenges:

Getting Cricky's Cricut Challenge: Boyish Charm cartridge challenge.

More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday Challenge #14: Anything goes.

Paper Secrets: Sketch Challenge

As always, Thanks for vising by blog! Have a great weekend.

Smiley Cards & Peachy Keen Stamps! Too Cute!

OMG! I finally got my free cartridges downloaded and what a nightmare it was, I think I am just getting to old for learning new stuff! But when I look at this darling little card it was while worth it.

I made this card for a challenge over at Card Creations & More By C

With my luck, the challenge is probably over, but what the heck!
So for the challenge you were to do something that was a first for you. Well I have never welded a card together with my gypsy, never used the hide button and I have never used the Smiley Card Cartridge . So I guess this is three firsts for me! I just got my Gypsy for my 40Th Wedding Anniversary, so it is a real learning experience for me.
I am also going to enter this card over at Getting Cricky's Cartridge Challenge: Boyish Charm
