Zoe's Friendship Blog Hop!

Welcome to Zoe's Friendship Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Melissa you are on the right track. If you just happened to stumble on my blog and would like to start at the beginning please click Here.

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our live mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand, this is a true friend that cares. This layout is in honor of My BFF "Sharon"!

When I became ill about four years ago all of our friends walked away from us except for Sharon, she has always been there for me, it doesn't matter how rotten I feel or how miserable I get, I know I can count on her! I don't know if everyone else thought I was going to drop dead or what, but I really needed them and they were no where to be found. ( Don't get me wrong , I do have a wonderful supporting family, but I do need a friend once in awhile)

I found the poem on the Internet and I think it just sums up the way I feel about Sharon.

Sharon and I have so much in common, we both love Bingo, Vegas, good looking guys, shopping, reading and of course are Cricuts! I took this picture one night at Bingo when we were just joking around.
Sharon you are my BFF now and forever! Thanks for being there for me!

I DO LOVE YOU.
Now on to the fun stuff!

Christmas In June! One Down!

Thanks to a couple of the Blogs I follow, I can now say I have my first Christmas Card done and it is only June! Yippee!!

It all started with Linda's Creativity Blog. This weeks challenge is to make a Christmas project to get a head start on one of the busiest seasons of the year.

I also decided to make the card the old school way, with no cricut cuts! This way I could also enter it over at My Creative Time: This weeks challenge, create a cricutless project, following the sketch provided.

I used KC and Company Christmas Paper Pack from last year and some darling Chipboard pieces that I picked up at the Dollar Store. I then added a few snowflake brads and stamped a poem on the inside.
Hope you enjoy!

Good Times! Shine on Me!

When I saw this picture of my Sister Debby's grandsons, I just new I had to scrap it.

The look on Evans face is just priceless!

I used Winni The Pooh and Friends cricut cartridge for the sun and film strip. The face on the sun was stamped with PKS.

I torn the paper and chalked the edges of the water.

The good times and Hot Hot title are chip board pieces from the Dollar Store.

Challenges that I will be entering are the following:

Getting Cricky: Simple Sunday: Shine on Me!

Fantabulous Cricut: Make a project with a sun.

Celebrate the Occasion: Make a project with a sun.

The Paper Variety: Summer has Begun.

Whimsical Wednesday: Fun with Colour

Must include the colours yellow and red .

So I kept with the Birthday Theme and added some very yummy looking candy!

I used twine for the banner, which comes in so many beautiful colour's and can be purchased at My Craft Spot along with the Happy Birthday sentiment which is also from My Crafts Spot Inside and out Stamp Set Sentiments #2.

My Pink Stamper Birthday Challenge!

I made this card for the challenge over at My Pink Stampers

Today's challenge is all about Birthdays. I decided to make a Center Fold card which is a blast to make and so quick and easy. Instruction for the card can be found at Splitcoast Stampers. I used 3 Birds on Parade for the sweet little bird on the front. All papers were from my scrap bucket. I inked all the edges in a light brown ink, added a bit of ribbon and bling, and now I have a cute little card for when I need it.

Thanks for stopping in. Have a wonderful weekend.
