My 39 & Glamorous Birthday Blog Hop!

For my Birthday project, I decided to make a layout from a cruise

we took to celebrate my Hubbies Birthday in 2007.

This was just before I became very ill and had to quit smoking!

So I was four years younger!

and at least 30 pounds lighter!



The ship was made from a die cut and my Cuttlebug ,

I just cut it out a few times, so I could layer it.





I used paper tearing for the ocean, and chalked all the edges.


Doesn't it look real?


Makes me want to hop on a plane and find a beautiful beach some where!

    Wow! This is one awesome layout! I can't believe you achieved the effect of the ocean just by the strategic tearing of paper. Yes, it really DOES look like real water! Incredible! I can relate to the problems of quitting smoking too and I sympathize with you. I'm working on 3 years tobacco free and it was the best thing I ever did, even with the weight gain. I was already following and now I have your blinkie posted on my blog too.
