Santa and Snowmen Utensil Holders

Hello all my crafty friend hope this post finds you all  just about finished with all those last minute things that must be done for Christmas.
We are having the my family over on the 21st for Christmas dinner. I have two sisters and they both have three kids that have kids of there own and then my kids and there kids, well you get the picture there will be about 36 of us so when I saw these cute little utensil holders I just knew I had to make them for my table.
This was a free Bap file that was offered from Creative Kuts. All you needed to do was send them a email by Tuesday and they would send it to you. I couldn't wait to get the email since I was dying to try them out.

I must say they were a breeze to make. I made all 36 in just one evening. We will still be having another Christmas dinner on the 25th but this will just be for the 12 of us. It will be the first Christmas that I have spent without my sisters in 61 years. I don't know how it is going to be but the family is just getting so big. Thanks for stopping bye and leaving me a bit of love.
Merry Christmas and the best to you all in the New Year!

Blinged Up Emo Jewelry Box

Hello all my crafty friends!
Just a quick post to show off this darling Jewelry Box I made for my neighbors little girl.
That is until I saw how cute it turned out! LOL!
One of the Christmas gifts we picked up for my granddaughter Katie is a Bed in the Bag Set in Hot pink and Black, so when I saw this treasure box finished I just knew it had to be for her!
Sorry Bella!
(But I did go and pick you up a really nice gift from the Disney Store.)
I found this unfinished Jewelry box at the Dollar Store for three bucks and knew it would come in handy one day. I started by painting the box black, along with everything else that got in my way!
I dug out my hot glue gun and my package of Glittering Scintillants and away I went. These gems do have a sticky back but I wanted to make sure they suck really good.
This is a shot of the inside of the box (looks like maybe I should clean the mirror before I wrap it up)
I then decided on this cool looking animal print ribbon, using a button and a little skull and cross bones to cover where the ribbon joins.
The SVG was from a Company called Bear Hugs that is no longer in business. The little girls faced is a Peachy Kleen Stamp.
I will be entering this box in the following challenges:
My Craft Spot challenge #121- Neighbors Gifts!
D.L. Art Thankful Thursday December Linky Party.
Little Scrap Pieces Joy fun Linky Party
Craftin Desert Diva's Link it up Party
Ribbon Carousel- Anything goes but you must use ribbon

Merry Christmas with A Bit Of Sparkle and Shine!

Hello all my Crafty Friends!
Last month I was lucky enough to take a card class in Edmonton from no other then Emma Lou from Heartfelt Creations! This was one of the best classes I have taken and I just love the way my cards turned out.

This is just one of the cards I have made from Heartfelt Christmas Card Collection.
The Christmas Poinsettias were first stamped then cut with Heartfelt Christmas Poinsettias Pre cut die set. We then use glimmer mist to color the flowers blue. We added tiny beads in the middle of the flowers and used art glitter glue and extra fine glitter to finish the card.
T ruefully these picture do not do this card justice!
I will be entering this card over at My Craft Spot Challenge- Sparkle and Shine.
As always thanks for stopping bye. Have a great week and thanks for leaving me a little blog love!

Thank You!

Hello all my craft friend! Hope this post finds you all well and enjoying life in general.
Yesterday my door bell rang and to my surprise it was a delivery man with a beautiful bouquet of red and white roses with no card. This had me wondering who would be sending me flowers! It was not my birthday and my anniversary was in October so I started phoning around to try and figure out the puzzle.
Turns out it was my grandson girlfriend Karol that sent them to me. She heard that I had not been feeling well and thought these would cheer me up!  So I decided to run down stairs last night and make a thank you card for her
Sentiment is from Joys Life "All Around Sentiment Stamps"
The tag was cut  from Spellbinders Shapeabilities "Framed Tags One"
Roses from Cricuts Flower Shoppe cartridge.
Talking about roses here is a picture of the beautiful flowers she sent.
I told my grandson last night that she was a keeper and to treat her good! LOL!

Wishing You Many Magical Moments!

Wow can you believe I am back again! Three times in one week......!
I haven't done this in a very long time, but here in Alberta it is so darn cold, nobody wants to leave their house. So what better way to spend your time then scrapping away and using up some of that darn supplies you bought way back when. LOL!
This week My Craft Spot has a sketch  challenge and Fantabulous Cricut has a fun challenge called Animal Crackers so I thought what better time to get another Christmas card done.
My take on the sketch, using DCWV Traditional Holiday Pack. (Once again not a great picture because of weather conditions)

This weeks sketch over at My Craft Spot.

This sentiment is from My Craft Spot "Joy Filled Christmas" which just arrived in my mail box last week!
(Thanks Kimberly for shipping so quickly!)
and then of course I had to finish the inside of the card, since I will be using this one right away.
( I have a bad habit of not finishing the inside of the card, how about you?)
The inside sentiment is from My Craft Spot " Jingle All The Way"

White on White Christmas Card.

Wow I can't believe I have another card done. Right now there are so many fun challenges going on that I just had to try  and get another couple of cards done. So with this being said I combined a few of my favorite challenges and came up with this beauty!
I wish the picture had turned out better but it is dark and gloomy right now so I will try and take a better shot later today when the sun comes out.
This card is 4.5 X 4.5 square. Using the white on white theme I just used the same card stock but used a snowflake embossing folder by Sizzix to add different texture to the card. The snowflake in the middle was cut using my Cricut machine and Cricuts Joys Of the Seasons cartridge, which I then covered in stickles to get another texture to the white card stock.
The Beaded Squares were made using Spellbinders Nestabilities S4-315. Finishing touches, some pretty white ribbon, pearls and a button in the centre of the snowflake.
Challenges entered:
Bitten By The Bug 2 - White on White Christmas
Fantabulous Cricut - Ribbons and button

Craft-Dee BowZ - anything goes
As always thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Merriest Wishes!

Hello all my crafty friends and family! Well I finally made it down to my craft room and did something. I can't believe it has been this long, but with Christmas just around the corner I have been busy shopping and wrapping all the gifts that will be under the tree once again this year. On the bright side of it I only have two gifts left to buy and then I can start on the baking and decorating.

I found a fun challenge over at Hiding in my Craft Room so I decided this would be a good time to start on the Christmas cards.
This weeks challenge is to use a Die Cut so I dug out my Jolly Holiday Cricut cartridge cutting the Elf out at 3.5 inches and made this adorable card.
I used my gypsy to cut the face so I could hide the cut marks so I could use my Peachy Keen stamps for the face( which I smudged) darn it anyway!
The sentiment is from My Craft Spot stamp set "Jingle All The Way"
Did you see all the new stamp sets and Dies that were just released over at My Craft Spot? They are all so cool and fun that I could not help but go shopping and then to top it off  I was lucky enough to win this set! Oh Yea! Doing the happy dance!
Here's a shot of the inside of the card.
and finally a picture of the card with matching envelope.
Woo Hoo!
One down and a whole bunch more to go. LOL!
