Cricut Mini Album for Design Team Reveal : Theme Halloween

This is my second project for Cricut Mini Albums , where I'm part of the Design Team.
I just love the way this turned out and just wish my pictures were better.
I cut the window for the front cover from Oct. 31st and then ran it through my Cuddlebug. I added some glittered bats and a couple of 3d stickers that I picked up at the dollar store. I also used a white gel pen around all the page

All the picture mattes were cut from Story Book and then I caulked the edges in black.
I cut the little spider from Paperdoll Dressup and added glitter to the faces. All the borders across the middle were from Michael's. I made it so the pictures could slide under the border

Next we have the ghost and skull.

The ghost is cut from Paperdoll Dressup, I added glitter to his cute little face.

Again you can slide your picture under the middle border.

The skull was cut from Oct 31 st. I caulked the edges in black and added glitter to the teeth. By the time I was finished caulking everything in black even my face was covered!

Both the web and spider were cut from Oct. 31st

Frankenstein was cut from Paperdoll Dressup.

I made this page so that this selection will fold out and you can add a extra four photos.

Next is the raven.

and then the crows.

The raven was cut from Oct 31st.

Again on this page you can slide the picture under the crows.

The castle was cut from Oct.31st.

Dracula and the coffin were cut from Paperdoll Dressup. I added glitter to the coffin and only glued the sides and bottom so I could add a couple of tags.

Here we have Trick or Treat, a back cat and a pumpkin.

Oh! and we can't forget the witch! Both were cut from Oct.31st

The next page we have a piece of candy and a glittered lantern that were also cut from Oct. 31st

and for the final page! A witches pot, a cute bat and a Halloween borde

I put a lot of hours into this album and I hope you enjoyed looking at it. I am also going to enter this album into the following challenges:
ABC Challenges: G is for glitter

I would really love to hear what you think!

Happy Halloween to all my followers, hope you have a super spooky Halloween!

Halloween Treat Boxes for Challenge # 4 at Abby's and Gaby's.

I made these treat boxes for my TOPS Group that meet at my place on Wednesday mornings. There are only 4 of us so it was pretty easy to throw them together.

I cheated and bought the boxes at Michael's for 90 cent each, since I knew I could not make them for that cheap!.

I used my Dressup Paperdolls for all the cuts, cutting everything at
4.5 inches.

Since we are all meeting to try and lose weight, I put a pair of Halloween socks, a package of light popcorn, a granola bar and a small package of jelly beans for a total calorie count of 250 per box .
I am going to enter the boxes in a challenge over at Gaby and Abby's

Welcome Fall and Autumn Love Layout

Wow, I finally was able to do a layout this week. I have been so busy making my Mini Halloween Album, I didn't think I would have time. I will be putting it on my blog tomorrow, so make sure you check back then, it turned out so stinkin cute!

For this layout I was able to play with my new gypsy, which I now totally love!. I used the Gypsy Wandering that comes with the machine to do my cricut cuts. The grateful was cut in three different colours at 4.6 , the maple leafs were also cut from the same cartridge at 1.50.

I used my cuttlebug for all the embossing and caulked the edges. I just happened to have some bronze maple leaf brads laying around to finishe it off. I really had to fight to get this layout to come together, but I think I am happy with the final results.

I will be entering this layout in two different challenges.

Happy Halloween Cards and Treats!

You all know how I love Challenges! I was so lucky that these darling cards and my calorie free cupcake will be able to be entered in a bunch of different challenges, leaving me lots of extra time to scrap this week for a bunch more up coming challenges!

To start with I would like to thank Scrappy Jak over on face book for sending me the material to make the two cards. Yes you heard right she sends the material and directions for the cards once a month and the only thing in return that she ask is that you post them on her face book page on a certain date! How sweet is that!

The first card I used my Mini Monster Cartridge cutting the little monster at 4 inches. The punch is a Martha Stewart Candy punch and the embossing Skull folder I won from a Cuttlebug Challenge.

The second card I cut the tree from Paper Doll Dress Up and the Cat from October 31st. I used stickles on the whole tree and again another Martha Stewart punch.

Last but not least is my cute calorie free cupcake socks! I used Sweet Treats Cartridge to cut the cupcake holder at 4 inches. Isn't this just the cutest? I found this ideal over at Joy's Life where she has a video on the cupcake.

I will enter these project in the following Challenges

Fantbulous Cricut Challenge #33: Frighten me or not:

Paper Playtime: Challenge #22: Create anything Halloween

Cupcake Craft : Challenge #114: Sweet treats

Speedy The Cats Friends Challenge # 26: use a die cut

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge! Anybody for a Round Of Golf?

This week Emma from My Creative Time
Throwback Thursday Challenge is a "Sports Theme" Episode 111: Create a project using "Sports Mania" or if you do not have this cartridge feel free to use any older cartridge. Since I do not have this cartridge I decided I would use Everyday Dress up Dolls.

This picture was taken last summer of my hubby at a golf tournament. He says there is nothing more relaxing then a good round of golf. I say there is nothing more relaxing then hiding in my office and scrapbooking! Who do you think is right?

My first project using my Gypsy! Wacky Wednesday Challenge #12

WOW! I did it, after taking two days to register my Gypsy, after fighting with hubby because he didn't know how to help me! After my Gypsy not wanting to accept my cartridges, I did it!!! My first card using my baby girl! And yes I called her my baby girl and I really do love her.

I made this card for Paula over at More Then Favors
She has a awesome blog with a new challenge every week! This weeks challenge is to create a card with a Fruit or Veggie Theme.

My girlfriend just had some knee surgery so I made the card into a get well card. Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Family Photos: Fantabulous Cricut Challenge & Get Pinky Challenge

These pictures were taken at the beginning of October. My nephew's hockey team had a fund raiser where you you could have family photos taken for $100.00 with a professional . The leaves were just starting to turn beautiful shades of orange, red and yellows, and I really didn't have any good shots of the family all together.

So I went on to face book and sent every one a email and said we were having them done, there was a lot of moaning and groaning but when all was said and done, everyone was happy we did it. We ending up with a CD with over 70 pictures.
The top picture is all of us, the next one down is my daughter Christy's and her family and at the bottom picture is my son Russell's and his family.

I used Happily Ever After cartridge to cut the tree at 8.50 inches and the circle was cut with George and Basic Shapes. I inked all the edges and used some coloured brads to finish it off.

The first challenge I will enter this layout is over at Fantabulous Cricut
Challenge #32 Falling Leaves: Create a project with at least one leaf.

My second challenge for this layout is over at Get Pinky

This is a new challenge blog and challenge #1 is this amazing sketch. I think it is a great sketch and I couldn't wait to play!

Halloween Layout: The Cuttlebug Spot Challenge!

I made this layout for the challenge over at The Cuttlebug Spot, this weeks challenge is called Totally Frightful.

This layout was done so I could add some great shots I got last Halloween, of two of my grandchildren. Dr. Shot is my oldest grandson Adrian and the cute little nurse is Katie one of my granddaughters, who we will call Nurse Painless for this layout. Adrian popped over to our house on his way to a Halloween party to show us his costume, the needles on his costume were shots of vodka!

The picture of Katie was taken on another day when they were over for supper and I had the costume in the closet. I just thought the pictures were great together.

I used my Dress up Paper Dolls for the ghosts using a variety of sizes. Boo was from Holiday cakes and the window was hand cut and paper pieced by my daughter Christy over at christys_ scrappin

Final touches to the layout were glitter to the word Boo and embossing the ghosts with my Swiss dots folder using my cuttlebug.
