My First Pedal Car!

My sister Debby, came across these two pictures of me shortly after my mother passed away. I have been waiting for the perfect time to scrap them. When finally two challenges just happened to come along this week that would be perfect.
The first being Fantabulous Cricut Challenge their theme: "Road Trip"
The second challenge is for Cuttlebug Challenge their theme: anythings goes, as long as you use pink in honor of "My Pink Stamper" who happens to be this weeks sponsor.
The pictures were taken on my 3rd birthday in 1955.
The 1950's was a decade of fun, excitement and individuality. There were poodle skirts, ponytails, bobby socks and saddle shoes. There were drive inns, Root beer floats and lots of milkshakes. It was a era of rock and roll, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, 45's and LP's. Some of the biggest music hits were, Rock Around The Clock, Maybeleen, I Hear you Knocking and Sixteen Tons. Oh yes! those were the years!
I think these pictures fit right into this week theme, with me and my fancy pedal car, just waiting for my first drag race, or first road trip. Which would be the first of many more to come.
For this layout I used my Cars cartridge along with my Design Studio to cut and weld the road pieces together. The route sign was also cut with this cartridge. Then I used my Dress Up Dolls cartridge for the cars. I used the colour pink and tons of bling to honor Robyn from "My Pink Stamper"
