Superman Saves The Day!

Hello to all my crafty friends.
I can not believe it has  been well over a week since I last posted anything. Seems like I hit a brick wall when it came to my scrap booking and I just didn't feel like doing a darn thing, but thanks to this weekends scrap retreat, I am happy to say that I found my Mojo and I am now ready to rock and roll.
This is a photo from a trip that Hubby and I took in 2009 to Universal Studios in Florida and yes I must say that Superman saved the day when it came to both my scrap booking and the fine people of Metropolis.
This is a shot of the left side of the layout showing you a little more detail.
I love the way I was able to use two of the stamps from Joy's Life My Hero  for this layout.
Don't you think they are just perfect to go along with this photo?
I am sure I must of been saying this out loud or at least thinking it as I walked by this display of Clark Kent's office from the Daily Planet.
Here is a close up of the phone booth that was purchased from the Silhouette online store.
Superman was a free SVG from a blog that is no longer available without a personal invite.
and finally I have a close up of Superman that was cut with my Cameo.
I hope you enjoyed today's layout as much as I enjoyed creating it. Funny how a bit of good company and a couple of drinks will get you back in the swing of things!
Have a wonderful week my friends.
I will be entering this layout in the following Challenges:
Oozak challenge # 15- Blue, stars and strips.
Hiding in My Craft Room 100B challenge - Die Cut
Red Carpet Studio- Create a layout with stripes.

Say Cheese! Disney Hollywood Studios Layout.

Good Morning all my Crafty friends! Once again it is Monday and my turn to post a project over at Joy's Life Design Team Blog.
Today I decided it was time to get back working on my Disney Album from 2011
and it just so happened that Joy's Life.com had the perfect stamp to go along with my Disney layout!
"Say Cheese "
Is from Joy's Life new release called "That Tastes Punny"
The first page of my layout is the entrance to the park.
and since this park is called Disney Hollywood Studios, I went with a movie theme.
The film strip was cut from Mickey and Friends Cricut cartridge at 4 inches.
The rest of the cuts are SVG from KaDoodle Bug Designs  "Movie Star Dog"( which sadly to say is no longer available)
The Disney title is my first attempt at using the cut and print feature on my Cameo.
I finished the layout with finishing touches of Faux Stitching and Button Brads.
I hope you enjoyed today's project, I do have the second page to this layout finished, but I am waiting for the wind to stop blowing and the sun to come out to take pictures to share with you.
As always thanks for stopping bye!
Challenges Entered:
Red Carpet Studios Brad Pitt  layout - use brads.
DL. Art  Thankful Thursday April Linky Challenge- Anything goes.

Summer Fun

Oh, this layout was so much fun to work on and I have so many cute pictures to choose from, that I couldn't make up my mind, so I thought I would wait till later.

I wanted to enter the challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ for the first time. For this challenge you are to create a card or layout based on your favorite summer destination including one of the following "B"'s Buttons, Brads or Bling. Anyone that knows me, knows I love the water, I should of been born as a fish! In my layout I used Dolphin Brads, Bling on the waves and the title is a package of buttons that I purchased at Michael's. I used Graphically Speaking to cut the waves and Create A Critter for the crabs and of course my Peachy Keen Stamps for the faces.

Then I found this cool Blog called Sketches in Thyme http://sketchesinthymeblogspot.com/ . They have a amazing sketch by Monma for you to use, you can flip it, rotate it, or just use it as a spring board to get started. So I decided to combine the two challenges into one layout.
