Just before we were leaving for Vegas in March my brother in law had a bit of health scare. Thank God he is O.K now but it did required a trip to the hospital, a few specialist appointments. That man is on the go twenty four seven and I really don't think he know how to just sit back and relax! Since we were leaving the next day for Vegas , I went down stairs to my scrap room and whipped up a card for him, then sent it out in the mail on the way to the airport. I just wanted to make sure he knew we were thinking of him and wishing him a speedy recovery.
The card is called a gate fold card and you can find the instruction for it over at SplitcoastStampers.
The bird is from Animal Kingdom Cricut Cartridge.

I used some pretty crinkled ribbon that was purchased from My Craft Spot and it just went perfect with the card.
The sentiment was from Bug Bites All Occasion Stamp sent and the poem was found on the Internet.I found a new challenge blog called my Time To Craft and this weeks challenge is called Happy Healing so I thought this card would be just perfect for it.
So that's my project for today. Hope you have enjoyed it and thanks for leaving me such lovely comments, I do enjoy reading them.
